Gyoza or Japanese dumplings

You need:

  • Frozen Uvic Hiina dumplings 400g

Dipping sauce:

  • Soy sauce 1 tbsp
  • Rice vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Sesame oil
  • Chilli


  • When made in the style of Yaki-gyoza, fry the dumplings in light oil until brown and crisp.
  • Pour a scoop of water into the pan and steam under the lid for up to 10 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and heat until the pan is dry.
  • Serve with sour cream or dipping sauce.
